Supatuf Flemings Jeans from Liverpool

On a recent visit to Liverpool in the UK we managed to pick up a pair of fantastic 'Supatuf' Flemings jeans. Flemings is the oldest company in the UK making jeans - they've been in operation since 1881 when, seeing potential in the hard wearing denim trousers worn by American sailors, they began making and selling tailored denim (the Flemings label sports American and British flags as a nod to this heritage).

Flemings soon became a Liverpool institution and through the 50's, 60's and 70's no fashionable Liverpool wardrobe would be without a pair. The Beatles of course wore Flemings during their early rocker years. Eventually they would be taken up as the jean of choice by Liverpool Football Club supporters in the late 70's and early 80's. They formed part of the distinctive Liverpool 'casual' look that subsequently kick started the billion pound fashion/sportswear industry (are you listening Nike).

Anyway, Flemings for men are back. We love the distinctive lable, the loose fit (throw out those tight jeans) and of course the history. Contact us if you are interested in buying a pair.
