I’ve definitely had to learn to adapt. The platforms, the formats and the pace have changed so much, but I think the thing that has stayed important to me is having a point of view. I try not to create something just because I feel like I’m supposed to be creating something. My content is meant to spark joy, and I’ve really focused on staying true to myself, my personal style, and my point of view.
I'm also much more protective of what I take in. There’s so much content coming at us all the time, and I think it’s important to leave room for real life: to travel, get dressed, spend time with my family, go somewhere new, look at art, cook dinner. Those experiences are ultimately what give me something to share. Since social media is my job, I also try to be protective of my working hours and really focus on it being a true 9-5. Now this doesn’t always happen, but I’m trying my best!
